Brooklea Light Greek Style from Aldi Review
I purchased a four pack of the Brooklea light greek style yoghurts from Aldi this week to review. They are at the cheaper end of the market, priced at 89p for four 125g tubs, as you expect from Aldi. What you may also expect from Aldi is a product that is incredibly close if not surpassing the product it is attempting to emulate, in this case a Muller light. And it does a very good job.
(At this point it is worth mentioning that the Brooklea brand sold exclusively at Aldi is rumoured to be produced by Muller, though this has not been confirmed.)
The yoghurt itself is pleasant without being anything special. If you enjoy Muller light these are a perfectly good, cheaper substitute. The yoghurt itself is overly sugary which covers up for a lack of strawberry flavour. The texture was too watery for my personal taste and alongside frustose syrup contains aspartame which seems unnecessary.
